Bennett Excoriates Kean after Congressman Gives Trump Budget the Thumbs Up

Rebecca Bennett, former Navy helicopter pilot and candidate for Congress in NJ-07, released the following statement on Tom Kean Jr.’s vote to support Republicans’ Tax Scam budget:

“As a mom of two, I know how expensive it is to raise a family in New Jersey. Today, Tom Kean Jr. once again voted to make life harder for families by raising costs, exploding the deficit, and ripping healthcare away from more than 20,000 people across our district. That’s not leadership – that’s dereliction of duty.

“I’m running for Congress to actually make life more affordable for New Jersey families. Tom Kean Jr. just voted to give more tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of parents, seniors, and kids. He couldn’t even keep his word about lowering our taxes when his MAGA Republican bosses told him how to vote. We will hold Tom Kean Jr. accountable for this indefensible vote and make sure New Jersey families get the servant leadership they deserve.”
