Somerville, NJ — Navy veteran and CD7 congressional candidate Rebecca Bennett today announced that Om Savargaonkar will serve as campaign manager for her campaign in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. Om most recently served as Coordinated Campaign Director for Mikie Sherrill and New Jersey Democrats, helping to guide an effort that led to Sherrill’s historic 13-point victory, in addition to gains at the legislative and local levels.
Savargaonkar brings extensive experience in Democratic politics and campaign management, with a proven track record of organizing winning efforts across New Jersey. He has experience electing national security and veteran candidates like Senator Elissa Slotkin and Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill, with a keen understanding of the electoral advantage their background brings.
