Planned Parenthood Action Fund Endorses Rebecca Bennett for Congress
Reproductive rights endorsement adds to Bennett’s momentum into the general election
Bridgewater, NJ – Navy helicopter pilot, healthcare leader, and mom of two Rebecca Bennett, the Democratic nominee in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, today announced the endorsement of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund – the electoral and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
“We’ve seen what happens when Republicans like Tom Kean Jr. are in charge – they have spent years stripping reproductive rights from women, and a Supreme Court willing to go along with it handed them their biggest victory yet when they overturned Roe v. Wade,” said Rebecca Bennett. “As a mom of two girls, I will not let them grow up with less rights than I had growing up. We need to codify Roe, expand access to reproductive healthcare across NJ-07 and this country, and make sure my daughters, and every family here, have a representative who will fight for them. That’s why I’m so honored to have the support of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.”
The endorsement reflects Bennett’s commitment to protecting reproductive freedom and expanding access to healthcare across New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.
The Planned Parenthood Action Fund follows a wave of endorsements for Bennett on Tuesday, including Elect Democratic Women – the only member-led PAC in the country dedicated to increasing the number of women serving in Congress. Together, they add to a growing coalition behind Bennett, who is already on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) Red to Blue program following her decisive primary victory on June 2. Polling shows Bennett leading Kean in what analysts have identified as one of the most competitive House races of the 2026 cycle.
