Democratic candidate for NJ-07 thanks local law enforcement, fire and EMS for their service to the community
SOMERVILLE, NJ — Rebecca Bennett, former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, healthcare leader, mom of two, and candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th District, attended four National Night Out events across the district. She joined the community in Raritan Borough, Westfield, Springfield and Summit for the annual celebration that brings together law enforcement, first responders and the neighborhoods they serve.
“National Night Out is an important opportunity to come together as a community to show our appreciation for our first responders. I was so glad to see so many families out to celebrate,” said Rebecca Bennett. “In Congress, I’ll work with law enforcement and first responders to bring home federal funding to support the programs that help keep us safe.”
