SOMERVILLE, NJ — Rebecca Bennett, former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, healthcare business leader, mom of two, and candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th District, announced today that her campaign raised more than $550,000 in the fourth quarter of 2025, bringing her total fundraising haul to more than $1.9 million as she further cements her frontrunner status to take on vulnerable Congressman Tom Kean Jr.
Bennett’s Q4 haul marks her strongest quarter to date, following fundraising totals of $425,000 in Q1, $480,000 in Q2, and $477,000 in Q3 of 2025. She has raised more money than any Democratic candidate in the race, is the only candidate in the race to surpass $1.9 million raised this cycle, and is the only candidate to demonstrate consistent, quarter-over-quarter fundraising growth. The campaign enters 2026 with more than $1.1 million cash on hand as Bennett continues to rack up key endorsements and build momentum in a critical “toss-up” race.
Bennett’s campaign is powered by over 10,000 individual donors from New Jersey and across the country, with 88.8% giving under $100. By refusing corporate PAC money, Bennett is relying on individual supporters who know she has the experience and leadership needed to take on Tom Kean Jr. and win in November.
“I’m deeply grateful for the extraordinary support behind our campaign to flip NJ-07 and deliver real results for our community,” said Rebecca Bennett, former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and candidate for Congress. “At a moment when families are facing rising costs and are frustrated with a broken Washington, this growing momentum shows that voters want practical, accountable leadership focused on making life more affordable, protecting healthcare, and strengthening our communities. We have the grassroots energy, the resources, and the vision to win this seat and deliver results for New Jersey families.”
Rebecca has earned a growing list of endorsements that includes members of Congress such as Pat Ryan, Seth Moulton, Jason Crow, Chris Deluzio, and former Congressman Patrick Murphy; national organizations like VoteVets, New Politics, Vote Mama, The Next 50, Leadership Now, and Taking the Hill PAC; and local Democrats including former Summit Mayor Jordan Glatt, former Summit Council President Marjorie Fox and former Summit Council member Phyllis Sank, Lambertville Mayor Andrew Novick and Council President Benedetta Lambert, and State Senator Joseph Cryan – the first sitting state legislator to endorse in NJ-07.
Rebecca Bennett is a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, officer in the Air National Guard, business leader in healthcare, and mom of two. Rebecca served in the Navy for over a decade as a helicopter pilot and aircraft commander. After serving her country for over fifteen years in the military and making waves in healthcare innovation, Rebecca is running for Congress to build a better future for our community. As a mom to two young girls, Rebecca understands first-hand the challenges of balancing work & family while navigating inflation and the rising cost of living.
