Somerset County Elected Officials Back Rebecca Bennett for Congress
County Elected Officials in Second Largest NJ-07 County Back Bennett to Flip NJ-07
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Today, Navy helicopter pilot, healthcare leader, and mom of two, Rebecca Bennett, announced the endorsement of numerous elected officials from across Somerset County. This group of endorsers comes one week after the Somerset County Democratic Committee voted overwhelmingly to endorse Bennett in the race to flip NJ-07.
“Rebecca Bennett understands Somerset County and the needs of our communities”, said Somerset County Commissioner Liz Graner. “She’ll bring integrity, a strong work ethic, and commitment to deliver to Washington to advocate on our behalf when she flips NJ-07 this November.”

The endorsements reflect growing momentum following a string of grassroots victories for the Bennett campaign, coming after her endorsements from the Somerset County Democratic Committee, Hunterdon County Democratic Committee, Morris County Democratic Committee, and Union County Democratic Committee. Bennett has earned a growing number of national and local endorsements in the race.
Rebecca Bennett is a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, officer in the Air National Guard, business leader in healthcare, and mom of two. Rebecca served in the Navy for over a decade as a helicopter pilot and aircraft commander. After serving her country for over fifteen years in the military and making waves in healthcare innovation, Rebecca is running for Congress to build a better future for our community.
